I joined WEEL in fall 2021 for my PhD after working for several years as a zoologist for the Saskatchewan Conservation Data Centre, primarily working with species at risk. Previously, I completed my BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biology at the University of Saskatchewan studying nutrient trends in water reservoirs. I then completed an MSc in Biology at the U of S focussed on social plasticity and fitness consequences in black-tailed prairie dogs in Grasslands National Park. For my PhD, I am combining experience from my role as a zoologist and my MSc. I am focussing on sociality, behavioural plasticity, and fitness in a species at risk, caribou, in Newfoundland.
