After having already spent a few months studying the migratory strategies of caribou in 2019, I’m back on the team to study a new aspect of caribou ecology. My master project will focus on the behavioral reactions of caribou to linear features and more globally, on the effect of those anthropogenic barriers on the fitness and survival of caribou in Newfoundland.
