Growing up, I spent a lot of time outdoors immersed in nature. Unsurprisingly, this love of wildlife and the environments that support it followed me into adulthood, as I completed my BSc studying ecology and conservation biology here at MUN. One of my main research interests is anthropogenic effects on animal behaviour. I tied this interest into my honours project, which examined the effects of human imposed habitat disturbance on the movement of grove snails in experimental mesocosms.
