An interest in all things animal related, specifically wildlife biology and medicine, has brought me to joining the WEEL team. After spending time working in wildlife rehabilitation and completing my BSc.(Hons) here at MUN studying viruses infecting mink, I am excited to gain further experience working directly with wildlife. As a summer student, I am working on two separate projects. I will be assisting with field work on projects studying caribou living on Fogo Island, Newfoundland, then continuing to spend the majority of my time with the lab completing work on predator-prey dynamics of elk, moose, and wolves residing in Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba.
