Postdoctoral Fellow

I joined the lab September of 2018 after completing my PhD at Michigan State University with Dr. Kay Holekamp. For my PhD research I studied social development of spotted hyenas in Kenya. Using social network analysis (SNA), I explored how the social positions cubs held affected their adult fitness. Also explored how human disturbance in their home areas affected their social development and personality. Now I am excited to continue expanding on my interests in social behavior, behavioral ecology, and conservation with animals in Canada.
